Location: Tashkent, Uzbekistan with travel across the country and the wider region
Type: Full-time
We look for individuals who have the following banking experience:
- At least 3 years in a head office position, with at least 1 year in middle management position
- Experience with MSME segments, especially in the lending business
- Experience with corporate or retail business is an advantage
- Fluency in Uzbek language
- Intermediate knowledge of Russian and English (proficiency sufficient for daily professional communication: reading documents, writing emails, joining discussions)
- Collaborate with partner financial institutions (PFIs) in Uzbekistan and the Central Asia region within projects focused on strengthening PFIs’ capacities and improving their operational performance
- Analyse PFIs’ processes and data to identify bottlenecks and opportunities, and develop relevant recommendations for improvements
- Support PFIs in piloting and rolling out selected concepts and solutions, staff training
- Work closely with BFC’s team of international experts
