Local Digital Transformation Expert in Armenia

Business & Finance Consulting (www.bfconsulting.com), a Swiss consulting company specialized in development finance, is looking for a Local Digital Transformation Expert in Armenia to drive innovative solutions for MSMEs under an ongoing EIB project.

The project aims to enhance access to finance for Armenian MSMEs, specifically for investments by women-led businesses, as well as investments in digitalization and in environmental sustainability.

Details:

• Location: Armenia
• Input: part-time (project-based assignment)

What you will do (Your Duty):

• Conduct in-depth market research to identify and evaluate relevant digital tools available in the Armenian market
• Engage with MSMEs to identify key digitalization needs and challenges through interviews and consultations
• Participate in creation of digitalization framework
• Participate in training sessions for bank employees
• Monitor and report on the progress of digital initiatives
• Guide PFIs in applying digital strategies to local market conditions

Who we are looking for (Your Profile):

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in IT, business, or related field (advanced degree is preferred)
• Experience: at least 3 years of experience in digital transformation, with a strong focus on MSMEs
• Languages: Fluent in Armenian and English, with strong interpersonal skills to liaise with local businesses and PFIs
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in digital tools (e.g., CRM, ERP, Marketing Automation), experience in implementing digital solutions, and familiarity with cloud-based platforms
• Local Knowledge: Strong understanding of Armenia’s business landscape, particularly in the MSME sector
