Business Digitalization Expert in Armenia

Business & Finance Consulting (www.bfconsulting.com), a Swiss consulting company specialized in development finance, is looking for a Business Digitalization Expert in Armenia to drive innovative solutions for MSMEs under an ongoing EIB project.

The project aims to enhance access to finance for Armenian MSMEs, specifically for investments by women-led businesses, as well as investments in digitalization and in environmental sustainability.

Details:

• Location: Armenia
• Input: part-time (project-based assignment)

What you will do (Your Duty):

• Contribute to the development of digitalization strategies by providing technical insights and assessments for SMEs
• Evaluate and recommend digital tools, platforms, and technologies aligned with strategic objectives of SMEs
• Support the implementation of digital solutions for SMEs, including vendor assessment, system integration, and testing
• Draft technical specifications, user requirements, and digital architecture recommendations
• Assist with capacity building by preparing knowledge materials or briefings for internal and external stakeholders
• Work collaboratively with IT and business teams to ensure successful adoption of digital solutions

Who we are looking for (Your Profile):

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in IT, business, or related field (advanced degree is preferred)
• Experience: 
• • At least 3 years of experience in digitalization, with a strong focus on MSMEs and proven experience in SME digitalization or technology implementation projects.
  • Preferably working for technology vendors.
• Languages: Fluent in Armenian and English, with strong interpersonal skills to liaise with local businesses and PFIs
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in digital tools (e.g., CRM, ERP, Marketing Automation, workflow automation, data platforms), experience in implementing digital solutions, and familiarity with cloud-based platforms
• Local Knowledge: Strong understanding of Armenia’s business landscape, particularly in the MSME sector
