Duty station: India/Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Vietnam/Laos/Cambodia, Indonesia, Philippines

 

Job responsibilities:
 

• Identify the main sources of funding for SMEs(especially venture capital funds or private equity funds) engaged in providing products and services to low-income households and microenterprises
• Analyze the performance of these various funding sources in reaching the indicated target segment of SMEs
• Identify constraints, such as regulatory impediments, to the provision of funding to SMEs which serve low-income segments; and constraints to the development of investment funds targeting low-income segments
• Develop conclusions based on data analysis and research findings
• Write professional reports

 

• University degree in Economics, Finance, Banking or related fields
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience in the fields of investment funds, financing SMEs, or venture capital in at least one of the six regions listed above
• Strong background in analyzing financial institutions
• Fluency in English
• Strong analytical, communication and writing skills
